[[Alright, alright! *jumps*]]
----- 5 Am -----
Mana opened her eyes to her empty bedside. She had gotten used to Ren not being there when she woke up. He always was an hour ahead of her. She got up and threw on some sweats and a white sleeveless. She may have been very pregnant, but she wasn't going to quit working out. Even with the twins, she found time to work a workout in her schedual. Perhaps this is why she was so fit after her pregnancy.
Han frowned when he saw her walked into the room. He highly dissapproved of her OR Lyn working out while they were with child. It was unnecessary and dangerous. But he had grown tired of arguing with her. He never won because she would do what she felt like anyway. She always was a stubborn one. He really could not figure out how she and his father had gotten together, since they were both so stubborn.
I guess even alikes attract, he thought as he continued to do his crunches while he hung by the bar.
"It seems especially quiet this morning," Mana said as she went over to the weights and began to do her bicep curles.
"What," Han said, "You want me to play like a broken record?"
"No," Mana said, " I just meant that I at least expected to see your father finishing up. I usually do. I haven't seen much of him since dinner last night."
"He was just finishing when I came in," he said as he finished and fliped down, "He looked to be deeper in thought this morning than he ususally is so I left him alone."
"That can't be good," Mana said," Usually when he thinks this hard, it is life changing for the rest of us. What do you suppose he has planned?"
"I don't know," Han said begining his leg excersizes, "But I hope it is not too terribly life changing, I think we've had enough of that this year to last a lifetime."
"I tend to agree with you on that one," she said, letting her thoughts wander to what Ren could possibly have in store.
By the time they were done and showered, it was around eightish and they heard russling in the kitchen. Mana had to wonder because she had grown accustomed to cooking the meals so Jun never had to worry. They came in to find Ellie busy at work. They both smiled and took a seat.
"Good morning Aunt Ellie," Han said sweetly.
"What is all this," Mana said, "are you cooking a good old fashioned English breakfast? What's the occasion?"

Ren had cornered Lyn in her room before she had even a chance to get up an do anything. Since Han usually complained, Lyn had accustomed herself to waking up just as Han finished, so by the time she made it down to the gym, he was in the shower. But Ren knew her schedule perfectly, and was able to snatch her for a request. Lyn was only mildly reluctant to agree... it didn't affect her much, anyways. But since Ren had caught her, /he/ wouldn't permit her to excersize at this phase of her pregnancy anyways, so she was dragged angrily down to breakfast.
As Ren approached the dining hall, his grip on Lyn's wrist loosened and she slipped away, darting in front of the still Ren and into the room. She tapped grumpily on Han's sholder, ignoring the wafts of sweet food scent that had enchanted her father. "Han-kun. Father requested a summoning, come with me. I need your body. I /assume/ you've mastered Hyoi Gattei." Lyn said, tugging him away from breakfast. "I'm hungry so lets get it over with. Follow me to the second dungeon."
Ren however, remained outside the door. The scent of an english-style breakfast almost broke his heart. They said scents were good joggers of memory, and they were right. If nothing else, this scent captivated Ren the most. He always remembered Mithy by his breakfast. He stepped into the room hesitantly, took a seat next to Mana, and stared down the plate in front of him. He'd get up and grab food eventually. He needed to recouperate from the scent.

Ellie smiled brightly at her friends, if a little tiredly. "No occasion - It's what I'm used to making in the mornings, that's all. Oh! Last night, I meant to tell you - Tom says hi. He misses you, you know." She told Mana with a soft smile, brushing her pale hair over one shoulder as she dished up, heaping food onto her own plate.
"...You want some, Ren?" She asked after a moment, suddenly aware that this was probably jogging a few too many memories all at once.

Mana smiled and brushed a strand of gold hair behind her ear.
"I really miss him too," Mana said thinking of the kind man who had taken her firey self under his wing. She really had to see him sometime. For some reason, if she told him all of this, it would make her feel better to cry into his shoulder. He had always been a good father type figure for her. But she couldn't think of that now.
"So what have you been up to," Mana said turning to Ren with a smile and a poke, "I haven't seen much of you lately."
------
Han gawked as he was dragged off by his sister. He gave her a strange look but nodded.
"Im fair when it comes to that," he said as he regained his composure and followed her, "Why? What summoning are we talking about here? And why do I have a bad feeling about it?"

Ren jumped a bit when she poked him. He was getting lost in his thoughts too easily nowadays. What kind of an old man was he? He had too much to reminice on. "...What? Oh. The same schedule. It's not like i'm getting any assignments any faster, so maybe i'm just getting slower..." Ren grumbled and stabbed his fork lightly into the table. "Was that a breakfast offer? Sure, may as well. I haven't eaten yet." Ren shrugged and tried to regain his composure. He didn't know how eating english food was going to help that, but, He'd just have to wait until Lyn finished her assignment. "been doing a little research this morning though. Nothing too important. Just a little bit on reanimation. As much as our family prides itself on those stupid corpses." Ren gave a little shiver, and proceeded to bite into whatever had been dished out to him. Just like Mithy made... oy.
--
"Father wanted a little tete-a-tete with his old friend. Seems like he's about to explode if he doesn't. If it ends his little depression-spree, i'd be happy to oblige. So ready yourself, kay? I usually do this with corpses." Lyn smirked and they decended, down into the bleak chambers of the second dungeon level. Through a windy corridor, they found a moderately sized room, a pentagram drawn lightly on the floor. Lyn grabbed the beads that hung around the nool post at the edge of the room and directed Han to the center with her. As the summonning began, Lyn fell into a deep trance, concluding only once she'd managed to veritably choke Han with the string of beads to get the ghost to fuse with him. She did mention she usually used corpses. Corpses don't NEED to breathe.

Han stood in awe for a moment, then closed his eyes and focused as well. He remembered a picture of a the man his Mother had valued so. The picture of his Uncle Mithos. He focused on his picture and on the energy within it. He searched the realm of the dead. He searched for that same spirt. Before he knew it he had found it, now all he needed was Lyn to form the gateway to form it into him.
He felt her beads choke him and his eyes flashed open. He cracked a bit and tried to breath. He put his hands on her and choked out.
"Lyyyn" he croaked as he felt his air supply run thin.
----------------- Mana ate some of her breakfast too, complimenting Ellie on her cooking. It really had been a while since she had a good English breakfast. And Ellie always was the best cook. That's why Mana surrendered a few times to her son's begging as they went over to Ellie and Kuua's for a few meals. Mana was a good cook, but Ellie was better there was no denying it. She listened to Ren make his excuses.
"Really," Mana said eyeing him eating his food, "Well I know you have been pretty busy lately. But tell me this, what exactly did our children go off to do. I though I heard Lyn mention your influance in this. Now would you mind telling me what is really going on here Ren?"

Ellie raised a slim eyebrow as she cleared up, having already eaten her own breakfast. Ren surely wasn't going to try...? The girl shook her head a little. "If she's anything like her father, she'll be experimenting, I'm sure." She said, unsure really as to why she was defending her friend's actions. She wouldn't object, though, if Lyn was doing what she thought she was.
"Anyone for some more?" She offered, shifting what was left of the food onto another plate before putting the pans in the sink, ready to be cleaned.

"Rediculous, I never experimented in my youth." Ren muttered irritably. Perhaps this was the primary cause of his curiousity in his older age. The lack of dating had made his relationship skills beyond poor. Though he thought mildly, perhaps there might of been other things he tried as a child. He certainly didn't get to be such a grand fighter through mere instruction.
"My influence on Lyn's actions? You say it like I could influence her to do anything." Ren's smirk gave away that indeed, that had happened, however. He picked lightly at his food, his appetite waning. As much as he loved this style of cooking, the memory hurt. "Take a guess. I asked Lyn to summon up a specific spirit for me. I couldn't give you my intentions if you asked for them. I guess... there are just some things a man has to do, ne?"
--
Lyn rolled her eyes and untangled the string of beads. "Oh suck it up, the hyoi gattei is easier if you're out cold anyways. Now surrender your fucking conciousness for Mido!" Lyn growled at him, folding her arms over her enlarged belly. "Hoooi, Mido-kun, you in there?"

"Riiiight," Mana said with a small smile, his smirk sending shivers down her spine, "Well, you can say whatever you want about that, but Lyn still cares what you think. Therefore you have influence and from her general demenor, more influance than you realize. She's definately a daddy's girl. And as far as this little project goes, I think I know what you are doing. I wondered how long it would be before you decided to go through with this. My only question is: What's Han's part in this? And PLEASE don't tell me that my son is going to be sharing a body."
She couldn't tell how she knew. It must have been mother's intuition on this part. All she knew is that there was a small cold feeling in the pit in her chest, and she didn't like it.
-------
Han looked at her strangely. Uncontious? If the spirit was willing, shouldn't the other come into the body naturally? He guessed there was still more to learn. He was automatically volunteered for this position, not that he minded because it made everyone happy. But shouldn't he at least be able to feel some comfort? He kind of frowned at Lyn but in the end, let her go on. He closed his eyes and let the darkness take him. It was almost a warm feeling and then nothing.
