Ren grumbled as he continued to wipe his brow, slightly aggrivated by the buzz that emitted from the working MP3 player. He had to restrain himself from putting something through the device, because then he'd have something even worse to listen too... that drabble of Mithos's sister. And she'd be complaining. Oh hell, did he not want to sit through that.
"What to do...?" Ren repeated the question, as if there was ANY answer to it. He approached Mithy, and with a tentative hand moved a lock of his hair that had fallen in front of his spectacles, off to the side of his face. Ren proceeded to swiftly return the hand, and slump against the white board... which was also warm. "That'd been bothering me." Ren merely commented on it, but the back of his mind was analyzing how oft and silken Mithy's hair was even when sweaty. Reminded him slightly of Hao, who absolutely obsessed over his lucious locks, but Ren had to bet Mithy's came naturally. He didn't seem the type to do more than just shampoo. He later gave himself a mental smack for so closely analyzing Mithy's /hair/ preference. The heat was making him ill.

Mana aqua orbs glanced back as she sensed Ren's movement. She made a disgusted face as he moved a lock of hair out of Mithos's face. He almost looked endearing as he did it. Mana wanted to puke. This whole heat thing was getting to them more than she would have thought. Shutting them out, wasn't working. So she tried something else.
She moved a few desks together, smiling when she was done. She ignored anything or any looks the boys may have given her. She had better things to do. So after all that, she layed on top of them and closed her eyes, resting her hands on her stomach. That way if anything happened, she wouldn't see it. Not to mention if her batteries went dead, hopefully she would be asleep. It was the only way that she could see to pass the time stuck with two knuckle heads for boys.

Mithos raised a slim eyebrow at Ren, but said nothing, instead removing his glasses and rubbing at his eyes wearily. This was going to be a very long night, he thought as he looked back to the window and did a few swift mental calculations. Suddenly, he stood up, snatched up the board marker and began doodling equations on the desk, trying to work out exactly how much force it would take to open - or indeed break - one of the windows. The air wouldn't get any cooler, but maybe they'd be lucky enough to get a breeze through. Studying the window once more, he scribbled a few things out. He wouldn't be able to put his shoulder through the window - there wasn't enough space. His elbow, maybe...

Ren looked carefully over at the calculations mithy was going through. When the hell did he learn physics? It didn't bother Ren much, he wasn't really a science or math buff, not that he wasn't good at what he learned. He just had no interest in advanced learning. Ren had enough of looking at something he didn't quite understand, and slumped back against the board where he began.
"If you want the window open so badly, I have a glass cutter..." Ren wasn't sure if by this point, Mithy would do anything to get so much as a little ventilation. Because cutting a hole in the window, would be a really stupid idea otherwise. If he was desperate, they would have an excuse. "Ngh..." Ren put a hand to his head, he had a headache forming. The temperature was rising above that of the outside, probably because of the three of them. It was like a sauna, and those have 15-minute warnings. He'd seen first hand, people with low heat-tolerance faint in an onsen. The same thing was probably happening here. They'd been in this room too long.
The head of a ghost popped in through the whiteboard behind him. Not just any ghost, but Bason, Ren's guardian spirit. He probably didn't even have to look to tell the problem. "Bocchama, You're overheating." Bason pointed it out in a concerned voice, which was also deep enough to rattle the room and break the silence. Ren twitched as he moved his head to look at Bason, who was looking for a way to keep his master cool. "Ne, Bason, I hate to quote the local bitch, but stop pointing out the obvious." Ren groaned and slumped down to the floor, sitting spread-legged just in an attempt to cool more. He'd never had... low heat tolerance... but prolonged exposure? He usually fainted within the hour. Some of his limits, his father just couldn't press.

Mana was happily lost in her own thoughts when she felt an aura tugging at her own. She opened one eye and looked over to Ren, who was acting very strangely. Then she saw Mithos busy at work near the window. She was going to just ignore it when the spirit's voice penetrated her ears, despite her headphones. She looked over to see an ancient looking spirit looking at Ren very concerned as his master slid agianst the wall looking ill.
Mana sighed and closed her eyes agian. It was his fault that they were in this situation after all. Why should she feel sorry for him? It really wasn't that hot. He was just being a pansy, as usual. Mithos's concern for him, however, seemed to be mounting. This was irritating Mana greatly. She could feel the tenseness in the room aside from the usual wall between Ren and herself. Ren may have been an egotistical bastard, but Mithos still cared for him. And Mana loved Mithos. She kept hearing her father's voice in her head, "To error is human. To forgive is devine." She would not so easily forgive Ren, but she would help her dear brother. Maybe a little relaxation could come from this.
She went over to Mithos and growled, "Move." She pushed him out of the way and grabbed a desk. Then without another word, she took it and hurled it at the window, breaking it and the desk. The cooler night air leaked into the room, venting the clammy conditions that seemed to suffocate the room.
"There," she said going over to Ren and taking him by the arm and putting by the window, "Breathe. If you yak, it's going to stink up the whole room. So breath in some air and try to get a hold of yourself."
After that, she looked over at Mithos, giving him a small smile. Then she went back over to the desks, taking up her music player into her ear, resuming her comfortable position on the desk.

"I was trying not to be quite so dramatic." Mithos said dryly, wiping the back of his hand across his forehead with a tired smile. The englishman looked to Ren with a concerned eye, then to the spirit in the whiteboard, giving him a quick smile. "Bloody heat. You know, I almost miss the weather in England. Almost." He said to his sister with a sarcastic grin, seating himself back on the table and swiftly unbuttoning his shirt, as the temperature kept rising despite the broken window.

"Eh! Don't touch me." Ren gave her a half-hearted glare as he was placed by the window, looking out it to the carnage that was once a desk. Gravity would do that to you. Ren couldn't help but think, that if they were going to break the window, they could've done it without breaking two objects at once... Oh well, at least now, the first person to enter the school would notice them immediately. There being a pile of desk on the front lawn, and all. "I'm not sick, I'm just hot." Ren grumbled. He refused to suffer a heat stroke. He was getting better with the window... open, but he did pine for his fan back at the inn. He could just picture yoh laying in front of a big fan, not a care in teh world, and most probably unconcerned for his own state of affairs. Which was good, in it's own way... Ren could always trust yoh to be concerned only when necessary. It wasn't in his personality to worry.
"Bocchama, why can't you leave?" Bason asked another question, causing Ren to turn his head. The ghost was slowly emerging into the room through the wall, showing off it's full size. "Well you should know me well enough by now, Bason." Ren smirked and looked out the window, away from the siblings, and most specifically, Mithy's chest. It was no longer that he merely did not want to jump out the window... it's that he didn't want to leave Mithy stuck in here, and he did in fact prefer being trapped with him than free without. He was still mulling it over himself... his new affinity to friendship confused him more than a little. But of course, that was all it was, ne? Budding friendship always felt this funny to Ren.

"Still better than yaking," Mana said impassivly as she continued to listen to her music. She knew that neither of them would approve. She didn't expect thanks. The small smile from her brother was all she needed to keep her satisfied all night. She looked over at him again. He was exposing his chest. She had to grin a little at it. She knew that somewhere, his English fangirls were sobbing. Mana had grown quite accustomed to the hordes of girls that seemed to favor him more than normal. In fact, she helped him escape a few mobs back in England. She always seemed to be his way out. How could she blame them. If it weren't for the fact that they were adoptively related, her heart would flutter a little as well. Mithos was hot shit. But most of the time she would just sigh and shake her head. Much like in this instance.
"Someone needs to get back to the gym," she said, hoping to break the heavy air in the room with a little comic relief. He had to know, of course, that she was kidding. Even a deaf person could tell from the way he spoke that his chest was well chistled. She worked out with him ever morning. Mana would know.
Just then the whole room was silent again. She groaned and looked at her MP3 player. As she thought, her batteries had died. Now there was nothing left but the heavy breathing within her and whatever dribble the boys would exchange.
"Aw crap," she groaned as she put it back in her bag and layed down, "So much for my sanity."

Mithos snorted, grinning roguishly at his sister, then rolled his eyes at her complaints. "You'll live, I'm sure." He said sarcastically, rubbing at the back of his neck with a sigh. It ached. Kickboxing class, no doubt. At least it wasn't quite so sweltering now, he supposed. "...My neck hurts." The tall boy complained, laying back on the desk, leaving his legs from the knee down swinging quietly.

Mana grinned. She just couldn't help herself this time. She knew she would probably get pelted for it, but she had to say it.
"Why don't you ask your new friend to rub it," Mana said, "He looked all to eager earlier."

Ren's face probably glowed in five different shades of red when she said that. No other comment that day had gotten him quite so riled as that one. In the back of his mind, he wondered why?
"W-w-what are you talking about! I-insolence! I don't know what you're trying to suggest but i'll have none of it!" Ren, who up until that point had been half-dead and draped like a tablecloth, suddly folded both arms and legs in an energetic show of offense. If that wasn't enough, the bright blush on his pale face made it even warmer than it had been... now she really was going to get him to overheat!
"Mithy, stop complaining. You're giving your sister fuel." Ren muttered, in a pathetic attempt to salvage his pride. How dare she suggest such things! Like Ren would want to give anyone a masage. Even if Mithy had some of the nicest looking sholderblades... and his collarbone... and he knew from sparring earlier, that his skin was wonderfully smooth too.
With a mental smack, Ren's blush increased threefold. It would be a long night.

Mithos badly hid his bout of laughter by doubling over in a coughing fit, raising his eyebrows at his sister. "You're impossible." He declared with a breathed laugh, not entirely sure which one of them he was talking to as he lay back again and rubbed at his neck. "It is your fault, Ren, seeing as you practically broke it in kickboxing." He said with a wicked little grin.
((I actaully choked on my gum, Mana.))

"Well, you were asking for it! You were lucky I held back. I could've broken it, if i'd wanted to." Ren said, turning to look at Mithy's back and immediately regretting his decision. The blush didn't fade, that was for sure. This would probably go no where fast if the problem wasn't remedied, so Ren figured he would infact, do something about it. Not rub his back, though.
He grumbled and marched over to Mithy, and with a swift hand corrected him so he sat up straight. Even faster, he hit his upper back with a quick round of two-fingered stabs at key points on his physique. He sighed when he was done. "Does it feel any better? That's a form of manual chinese acupuncture, for when you don't have any needles with you. It's good for relaxing the muscles." Ren smirked. "And if you strike too hard, you can actually short out the nerve and make them immoble, like a wet noodle. Was I gentle enough?" Ren had infact, really stabbed Mithy's left arm, just for making him blush. Though technically, it was Mana's fault, he hadn't made it any better. Ah well, it only lasted 15 minutes. He'd get over it~

Mana's eyebrow raised. She knew that Ren would get flustered, but not THAT flustered. She eyed him, almost as if trying to look right through him. What was his deal? Why was he so tense?
She watched as Ren helped Mithy, who looked all together relieved. Mana was about ready to toss her cookies at that moment. She looked at Mithos with a flat look as she put a strand of gold behind her ear.
"You can call me impossible," Mana said raising and eyebrow, "That much you knew. But still, Im not the one over there using Chinese acupuncture as an excuse to touch your sweaty body. That's just sick if you ask me. I knew you two were friends but not in that way. You move quick don't you shorty?"
Mana was loving every minute of this. She could see Ren getting more and more flustered by the moment. She figured his ego must be shrinking to the size of a crum right now and she savored it all. Knocking someone off of their highhorse was one of her rare joys in life. So of course when the oppotunity presented itself, she couldn't say no. Of course she didn't really believe all that she was saying. Even if Ren was...Mithos still had WAYYYY better taste than that right. There was no way that anything other that the disgusting friendship they had could survive between two people such as them.
She knew this was kinda getting to Mithos too. He gave her the 'OMG' look and rolled his eyes a lot. He knew how she was, and seeing him laugh like this was another or her rare joys. It made her aqua eyes dance for only a moment, and then it faded to her usual smug look.

((The OMG look and rolled his eyes a lot. so true.))
Mithos grumbled a little upon inspecting his now immovable arm, and shot Ren a flat look. "On the plus side, my neck doesn't hurt." He muttered, shaking his head and flopping back down onto the table with a sigh. Despite the broken window, the temperature was still rising. This fact was impossible to ignore, and Mithos grumbled once more, fully aware that since he was quite unable to move his arm for another ten minutes, he couldn't get his shirt off. Well, not easily. Sitting up again, the englishman slipped his shirt off as far as he could and tugged the sleeve off his dead arm with a sigh. "...I hate hot weather." He declared, balling up his shirt and using it as a pillow.

Ren was suddenly very aware of how silk did not breath. Specifically his shirt, which he had for the most part been trying to avoid stripping off, was now making him sweat more than ever. He feared he'd have to follow mithy's example and strip down another layer or face overheating. Despite his chisled physique, he was far too modest, and indeed, shy to just strip down in front of people. He still had horrible memories of being forcefully dragged into the onsen. Perhaps having friends who stripped him naked had indeed scarred his ideals of what friendship was...
"No, wouldn'tve guessed." Ren said dryly, grumbling as he undid the clasps that held his shirt on. He slipped out of it and wrang it out, grimacing as there was infact enough sweat built up to make a couple drips. He sighed and chucked the now wrinkled item of clothing over to his pile of stuff that he'd abandoned earlier. Now shirtless, he took a look at his left peck, where a nice round bruise was forming from the one good hit he'd taken in kickboxing. "...And to think I was planning on icing that when I got home... Damn, Mithy."

"Told you not to underestimate me." Mithos replied with a short laugh, one hand beneath his head as he idly threw the board marker into the air with the other. "That was pretty good, though. Better first lesson than I expected it to be, that's for sure." He chattered idly, catching the board marker again. He had certainly been surprised by Ren's prowess, but at the same time, not. He was the head of the Tao family, after all. And it had seemed like he'd surprised Ren far more just by landing a hit.

Mana heard the ruffling of shirt and assumed her brother had removed his completely now. She couldn't say that she was suprised. Mithos was hardly modest, especially in such extreem conditions. But then she heard another russel which made her close her eyes tighter.
"ewww," she groaned quietly turning her back to them.
It was bad enough seeing her well muscled bother in skins. He she could handle. But knowing that the other was standing nearby, half naked was something she could go with out seeing. It was bad enough he had a good bunch of himself exposed in kickboxing. She really didn't need to be reminded of what a warrior he was. She kept trying to pretend that they weren't there as she fluffed up her blazer under her head.

"Suppose not. God, look at that though. You'd been holding a dagger, I'd be dead. Hmph. Unnacceptable." Ren ran a few fingers over it and winced. "I guess you're right, there are worse things that class could've been. But still, I wish that sensei would join in the class. Really... I think they just hired the man as a figure head. I've never seen him join a fight." Ren muttered, looking from the bruise to his various smaller scars.
"You know. You hit me once and suddenly i'm surprised i'm still alive. No one's hit so close to my heart before." Ren muttered it, totally unaware of how what he said changed in any different context. "And i've gone up against /much/ stronger than you." Ren said, and smirked, holding one hand over his bruise. "Though, my recklessness gave me a really horrible reputation in the shaman fights. Nothing I can really do about it anymore, I perfer to forget about it."
Ren's gaze shifted over to Mana, who was rolling around like a worm with a stomach ache. "Would you just shut it? For heaven's sake, you contribute nothing."

Mithos raised an eyebrow, smiling. "Yeah? You'd kicked me any harder and you probably would have broken my neck. I'd say we're even." He admitted, still staring at the ceiling boredly. "And you're right about the sensei, too. Just another pretty face to get the girls into the class, by the looks of it." The englishman sighed, smiling softly. This little predicament wasn't turning out to be so bad after all.
