[[majority reached, motion passed! *whacks a gravel*]]
History class had to have been the most boring to date, Ren figured. He couldn't even mutter to Mithos during the class, seeing as he was seated half-way across the classroom from the bunch of them. Somehow, this fact disturbed him more than that of the class being boring. Why did he need to chatter with Mithos to make it through the day...? Ren shivered. He refused to become so dependant so easily. He'd only just met the guy.
As fate would have it, everyone who showed up in his history class reappeared for kickboxing. It was 401... not begginer stuff. So they all had what it took to make the advanced qualifications? Ren looked about. The other students were a mix of senior's who'd advanced to the class, and some advanced juniors and even more-so freshman. Those were the cocky ones. Ren just smirked, watching them strap on their little black-belts and white gi, acting like the kung-fu master of the world. Ren had to snicker at their audacity. There would be no match to his level.
He'd stopped by the locker rooms to change before class, he was fully outfitted in his black, chinese silk pants and matching top, and his ballet flats from earlier. The top was embroidered with gold and had a diamond cut in front to show his pecks, with a circle-cut in back, to show off the yin-yang tattoo that was engraved into his back. In japan, it would probably hold little meaning, but to anyone who knew, it classified him as the heir to the Tao throne. It would send shivers, were he in China.

Mana whizzed through history class. It had all been a wonderful distraction from her normally dull and boring existance. Sadly for her it all had to end. But what really suprised her is how most of the history students crowded into the Kickboxing 401 class. It made her roll her eyes to say the least. But she never figured....
"Ellie," she said changing into her clothes looking at her, "You don't seem the type to be in a class like this. Heh."
She put on her black cotton pants with the white stripe down the side and the Puma insignia on the left side of her pants. She had a white sleeveless shirt to match with a black puma and some stunning white shoes. When it came to her trianing clothes, she liked Puma. It allowed her skin to breath while still looking good. And to anyone who would look at her, she didn't appear to be much of a challange. Just another pretty face on the floor to taken lightly. That was exactly her intention as she twisted her braid up into a bun on the top of her head, her bangs still framing her face. She took a towel and her water bottle and headed to the main floor.
She viewed all the competition. Most of the guys looked at her with smug smile. She just rolled her eyes. She couldn't wait to wipe it off of their faces. Some of the girls who were in there sat on the side in their normal clothes. Probably the preps who had "Doctor's Notes." Those kind made Mana irritated, but relieved that they didn't pollute the fielt with their cell phones and fowl smelling purfume. Then there were the other girls, such as her self, who took this seriously. Most had uniforms from their do-jo on. She shrugged and streatched a bit. None of them bothered her. Child's play to a girl who has been training since she was 4. Kickboxing was just another way Mana kept her father's spirit alive. He was the one who began her in her training, and now she believed if he could see her now, he would give her a round of applause. Or at least that is what she hoped.
As Ellie stood next to her she scoffed. She saw Ren in his rediculous outfit and nearly broke into laughter. What a getup!
"He looks like a kung-fu Elton John," she said to Ellie, smirking, "I thought this was Kickboxing class, not a beauty pagent. I expected things to be different here, but this is rediculous."
She didn't care if he heard or not. She kind of hoped he did. Mana was always the type to express her opinions and since Mithos was probably still finishing up in the locker room, she could say what she wanted till he came out. Then she would have to bite her tounge for his sake. But with a getup like Ren's, it was going to be hard.

Mithos slipped into the room quietly, hoping not to draw too much attention to himself, and failing miserably. He was dressed in the same style of clothing as Mana - white puma shirt, black puma pants and a pair of very clean white shoes. He groaned inwardly as he seemed to automatically attract the gaze of almost all the girls in the room. He supposed that, at six foot six, he was a litte hard to miss. Scanning the room, he spotted Ren and frowned a little. So he was a Tao, hmm? That made things quite interesting.
Ellie laughed shortly at Mana's insult to Ren, her eyes dancing over the class and settling on Mana's brother with a grin. "Damn right I'm in this class. Not just a pretty face, you know." She said with a smirk, putting her hands on her hips. The blonde was dressed in a simple red tracksuit with shoes to match, three white stripes down the side of her top and pants.

Mana laughed at Ellie's comment. She had to say that this girl was turning out to be a bigger suprise than she figured. When she first met Ellie, she thought that she was nothing but an eccentric bubble head who would not leave her alone. But this...this gave her a whole new light. A whole new shine. She showed a bit of ego, which Mana could identify heavily with. Slowly, this girl was starting to grow on her more and more.
"Next of course," she said with a smirk and crossing her arms. She heard a lot of the whisperwhispers going on around the female sector and noticed that her brother had come out in his training outfit. They both had the same great taste and style. Plus they found this was the only brand that held firm what needed to be, and still breathed. She made a little fist at him and then gave him a wink as if to say, "I'll try not to kick your ass too bad in front of your fans."

Ren's outfit was in classic chinese taste, so it was no surprise to him that Mana felt the need to mock it. He'd personally never even heard of elton john... but it couldn't be a compliment. Ren was busy stretching when Mithy entered. He couldn't help but spy some similarities.
"I really hope you didn't do that on purpose." Ren commented, looking at their matching outfits. "Because personally, I've had enough of twins to last me a lifetime. The twin thing, is a little creepy." Ren expressed his dissaproval whole-heartedly. It was mildly unnerving to have someone he liked, and someone he disliked, looking the same. Not that... anything was similar besides the clothes. Tall pale englishman, versus shorter, darker... Ren wasn't quite sure what nationality. Euro something.
"I'm glad there will be some entertainment in this class. You're ready to lose, right? I wouldn't want to see you underestimating me."

Mithos winked back at his sister then turned to Ren and snorted. "Pure coincidence, I assure you." He replied, rolling his neck and listening to it crack, which satisfactorily freaked out all the girls oogling him, especially when he proceeded to do the same with the rest of his joints. "Never underestimate an englishman." He said to Ren conversationally, grinning. "It proved to be the last mistake a lot of people made."

Mana smirked at his wink. Then proceeded to laugh as he grossed out his latest fan hoard. She shook her head with a sigh and put her hands on her hips.
"God I love that man," she said as she did some stretching of her own. She was wondering how this all worked. Since it was an advanced class, surely there would really be no "teacher" only a referee. As if on cue, an older handsome gentleman walked into the room. He wore traditional Japanese fighting garb which was very loose and black. He had long black hair slicked back into a ponytail and wise blue eyes.
"Today, we continue mastering our techniques as discussed last week. The tournament is only 6 weeks away and I want our school to stand a chance this year. I know there are two new students in the class so you will come with me and we will test you to see where you are and what we can work you on. The rest of you choose a sparring partner and begin your warm ups."
Mithos and Mana passed most of his tests. The Sensei was impressed with the both of them. Especially since they were foreigners. He honestly didn't expect so much out of them.
"It would appear that you two are equal to one another," he said with a smile, "And both very leathal. You must have been taught well."
"You could say that," Mana said as she smiled at Mithos, "We lived just up from an English Dojo of sorts. The man who taught there was one of my uncle's good friends from Sepikwa Bay. He taught us most of what we know in all forms of fighting. And because we live in the same house, we are always challenging each other and pushing our limits."
"Good good," the sensei said very impressed, "Very good. Well then let's give you two siblings a break from each other. You *points to Mithos* will fight with someone who is going to be a bigger challange for you. And since I noticed you and he came in together, I assume you need no introduction. You will fight Tao, Ren. He is, at the moment, one of my top students. And you miss, you will fight Ellie. She is a suprising foreigner too, much like you. Apparently she has had what she calls 'street training.' Good luck."
Mana bowed to the sensei as he went off to watch the rest of his students. As soon as he was out of earshot she turned to Mithos with a look of seriousness.
"If you don't beat him, " she said in a low tone, "I am knocking at your door at four am so we can do double laps? Am I clear? I do not have my doubts that you will beat him, but I thought I would give you the heads up."
She loved her brother and would not have him made a fool of by the one person she hated the most. She knew of her brother's strength, but she, as much as she hated to admitt it, Ren looked to be very strong himself. He looked to be the kind of guy to take fighting VERY seriously. She knew that they would most likely be evenly matched, if not worse. She hoped that her intuition was wrong.

Ren listened in as the teacher paired up Mithos and Mana. So he would get to fight the english boy after all? Exciting, exciting. He'd just see if you really couldn't underestimate a Brit. He'd hate to give him the benefit of the doubt, and have him end up dead. He stepped over onto the mat, giving his wrist a final crack before assuming a defensive stance.
"Alright Mithy! Show me what an englishman is capable of, and i'll show you why you should leave fighting to the orientals. Come!"

Mithos grinned at Ren, clearly in his element here, and cracked his neck once more. "You think so? We'll see!" He shot back, striking at Ren with a swift, hugely overexagerated punch. He had to keep his fans entertained at least for a while, after all. According to the sensei, it was more of a general beat the crap out of the other guy class than actual kickboxing. The title of kickboxing was just a way to get around all the pesky politics, apparently. That was fine by Mithos, as he was better in general hand-to-hand than anyone he knew, save Mana.

Mithy's attempt to entertain his fans would surely be his downfall. Ren knew as any master knew, that overexaggerating one's movements made it that much harder to recover for the next strike, and gave the opponent more time to attack. And attack he did, as Ren used his hight to an advantage and slipped under the punch, grabbing hold of Mithy's outstretched arm and forearm and swinging him right over his head onto the mat behind. Satisfied with a thump, Ren resumed a defensive stance to give Mithy another shot. "Alrighty, bishonen type. Care to take it seriously?"

Mithos hopped back onto his feet with a grin and a short laugh. "I think so." He replied shortly, dropping into a crouch and swinging his leg to take out Ren's. One shot seemed to be enough for his fangirls, anyway, so now it was time for some serious fighting. He had no doubt that Mana was sincere about her threat, but it would only bother him if he lost without trying hard enough.

Ren smirked, jumping to evade the swing and landing on three limbs in a crab position on the ground. He twisted for leverage and shot out his free leg upwards at Mithy's chin, hell-bent on knocking his head right off his sholders. He made a note, however, to make it a quick strike, so mithy couldn't try with his leg what Ren had done to his arm.

Swearing quietly, Mithos leant back sharply, his back cracking audibly as he placed his hands firmly on the floor and flipped himself over and onto his feet, wasting no time in lunging at Ren once more. This was turning out to be much more interesting than he would have hoped. His cracking joints seemed to gross out his fans at any given point, too, which was a definate plus.

"Damn, do you never move? You're creaking like an old man." Ren smirked and flipped over into a pushup so he could push himself back onto his feet, easily missing the lunge. While Mithy was still bent from that attempt, Ren took the opportunity to jump, rebound off the nearby wall, and bring down the back of his foot on the back of mithy's neck. A throbbing headache would probably be the best way to get mithy to just forfeit, making for a quick win.

Mithos hit the floor hard, cursing like a sailor, although in English. He'd been bent so far over that Ren's kick had pretty much pushed him into the floor. Rolling over and getting to his feet, the tall booy rubbed at the back of his neck with a grimace. "Sweet Lord, that's painful." He muttered, grinning at Ren. He probably wouldn't be able to keep this fight up much longer, being unable to move his neck much, and the fact that he was likely to have a pounding headache in the next minute or so.

"Hmph. You still haven't convinced me to respect an englishman on the battlefield. Sure you conquered half the world... but you never got China, now did you." Ren smirked, watching as Mithy got up painfully. He knew from the start there was no way Mithy could take him on in a fair fight. Ren had trained too long, and too hard to lose to anyone his own age. That Hao guy was merely an exception, seeing as he was in his third lifetime...
"Painful? Well it's supposed to be." Ren said, and decided to take an offense. He'd go for basic hand-to-hand, and see how well Mithy could manage then. He aimed a simple punch at Mithy's side, followed by a kick up at his sholder. Once the headache set in, Ren didn't expect Mithy would be able to even focus enough to defend.

It was all Mana could take. She had barely been focusing on her sparring with Emma. She kept looking over to where her brother was getting hopelessly beaten. Mana knew that Mithos trained hard enough, but Ren, much to her disgust, was just to big for him to handle. She knew it was Mithos's fight, and he wasn't going to easily forgive her for steppingin. But she couldn't ignore this. Evertime Ren struck him, it was like watching her father getting mercilessly beaten by the Chinese scum who had killed him. Each blow was a cut to her heart and a step to her nerves. She had had enough.
She made a silent apology to Emma as she turned away. With the lightning speed she had trained for since she was a child, she ran to Ren and kicked. She hit him square in the ribs and sent him flying some good feet away. She growled as she landed like a cat and looked over at him with the fires of hell in her eyes.
"He was already beaten," she hissed, "And yet you still saw fit to continue your assult? As I figured. Your type is all the same. No honor at all. So why don't you try an opponent who will fight as dirty as you? Or are you afraid to have your ass kicked by a girl?"
The sensei smiled. Somehow, he sensed the deeper tension within Mana towards Ren, aside from her jeering. There was some deep seated conflict she needed to solve and hand to hand was a better way than any. This is why he didn't say anything or jump in to help. He saw the power within them and knew that the class would be in for a real treat. He made a note to jump in if things got too hairy, but for now, he was curious to see how things would go. Both were power. One driven by pride, one driven by vengance. Which would win?
